This port is the main gateway consisting of the Selayar Islands Regency, South Sulawesi via the sea route with ferry facilities. According to the plan, this port will be visited by ships that sail from east to Indonesia, and vice versa. The Selayar Archipelago's plan to become the East-West Indonesia current by sea, reminds us of the map of the archipelago's trade flows a few centuries ago. At that time, Selayar Island became a transit center for merchant ships from various directions. It was marked by the number of antique sites on the seabed around the Selayar Islands. The Selayar Islands are indeed very strategically connected east and west, as well as the northern and southern regions.
